Why We Just Lowered Our Rates
Transparent pricing, no hidden fees, and a rare drop in storage rates in St. George

It’s not something you hear every day — a self-storage facility lowering its rates. But at Red Hills Storage, we’re committed to keeping things fair and transparent, and that means keeping our pricing in line with the real market.
Every year (and never more than once per year), we take a close look at local storage prices across St. George, Washington, and Hurricane, UT area. Based on that review, we adjust our rates to stay roughly 10% below the market average. That’s not a promotional rate or a limited-time offer — it’s our long-term pricing philosophy.
We know many storage facilities use introductory discounts that disappear after a month or two, leaving customers with higher bills than expected. We don’t do that. We also don’t charge move-in fees, setup fees, or any other hidden costs.
At Red Hills Storage, here’s what to expect when you rent a unit:
- A simple, flat-rate deposit (and more than 90% of customers get that full deposit back upon move-out)
- The first full month’s rent upfront (the second month is prorated so that your payments will then be due on the first of the month moving forward)
That’s it. No surprises, no fine print, and no monthly rate creep.
We believe you should always know what you're paying for — and that your rate should stay consistent. That’s why we only review prices once per year. If you move in at one price, you won’t see small increases month after month. We never raise rates more than once annually — and for 2025, that annual review resulted in a pricing decrease.
In a time when most things seem to be getting more expensive, we’re proud to go the other direction. Our 2025 pricing reflects meaningful savings for new and existing customers alike.
If you’re looking for affordable storage in St. George or Washington, UT — with transparent pricing and zero hidden fees — we’d love to help.
